The Long Sea, also known as the Red Sea is a body of water between Arabia and the Nile. It has historically been a major artery for commerce and was thus one of the reasons for the growth of Axum. Currently the dominant power on the Long Sea is Hyak though until recently it was Egypt, and Eterika controlls the entrance. The Long Sea's role as a trading route became important in the Nile War, when Egypt used Monoremes to destroy the Trade Federation's Curragh fleet and cut of the Axumite supply routes, destroying Axum's trade based economy.
